Hello;
I do not know of any other forums. It took me years to find this one. I have been looking all over for more profiles outside the main book.
I thought about the Full-line miniatures order through Black Tree, but it is way out of my budget, even with the savings. I have taken advantage of the Christmas Special they had.
I did go to the page for the alternate rules to the game once. I did not look much more into it though.

Yes it took me a long time to find this forum as well. It is very tempting to set up a blog about my paint and custom jobs on the Dr who minis. To write your own profiles might be an idea Follow the profile aready written in the rule book and on the www.doctorwhoinvasionearth.com website. I think my first custom job will either be Imperial emperor Davros or Absolom Daak and his gang. Where are you based because i am looking for more people to play against. tom

I have been working on my own profiles for the Dominator's and Quarks as well as Movelons. Did not finish them though. Lost some of my work when my hard drive broke down last summer. Have not got around to going back since then. I am trying to paint what I have, but timing is poor. I am just glad all my daleks are done. not the easiest miniature to file and clean. I have a lot of damaged orbs trying to get the flashing out from between them. I would also warn to take care with Movelons. They have thin wrists and the hands break off easy. They look good, but should take care.
Living up and over here in Canada, getting Miniatures has been hard. Except for shipping time, I have been lucky with Black Tree's sight. I do not mind the wait since I do a little work on my miniatures a couple times every few months.

Yes I have had problems cleaning the dalrks as well.
I have even had orbs falling off.
I have found a difference in quality in the cast from Dalek to Dalek.
I now leave the worst offenders to paint last maybe as a destroyed Dalek or I have be toying with the idea about getting myself a smalll Dremil type tool to grind the flashing out and the repaing the dalek with Green stuff.
I find the alien casting from Halaequin very good but I am disapponted by the quality of the unit troopers.
Gripping Beast do a MOFO range which has British troopers from the Falklands War (1982). These mini are slightly smaller than the Halaequin Unit trooper but fit in rather well, with a better sculpt and cheaper £4 for four with a choice of heads.

Personally I haven't had much trouble with the harlequin Daleks, but I have done some modifying with heroclix and other mins to represent Rose, Donna and a few other characters not released by harlequin or the micro ranges.
