Hello everyone, I've recently started playing and am very thankful for this site! I am assuming the profiles & scenarios section has all the available supplemental rules that were published. If so that leaves a lot of holes in the profiles. If there is enough interest here, I was considering taking the time to develop a point system to help calculate what custom profiles should cost. As well as publish some profiles I generate for some of the creatures. But I don't want to waste the time if there is no interest and people have decided to use the rules and profiles provided over at www.drwhominiatures.co.uk in games where they want to field other sorts of aliens.

I only use the original Harlequin's Rules. I have been trying to figure out the math on how the profiles get their point value. I have come close when profiles I put into a spread sheet come together ok, then I get the odd one that goes off into left field.
I have broken the profiles into special action, movement, health, assault, primary weapon, secondary weapon, special features and total. Movement has been tricky for points. I am using Move 5 Move Fast 7 as normal, and figures who move slower lose points. The calculation works for some and badly for others.
I am going to work on it a little longer. Then I am going to work on a package system using Hits, assaults, Weapons as estimated point value for building instead of trying to find an absolute.
My last step is trial by combat. Simply assign at reasonable point value. If they win more often, increase the points until one miniature is taken out of the detachment. The reveres would be true. MY biggest problem is that there are too many random elements like luck, skill of player, strategy, and etc.
I wish those working on a formula the best of luck. It is hard, but I do believe it is possible.
I have a Dominator and a group of Quarks already painted and ready to go. I am still tweaking numbers for a Profile.
Dominators have the Command influence same as the Brigadier. I have seriously considered giving Quarks the Fix ability the Dalek engineers have. Quarks would have standard blasters, medium template, and a Huge Energy howitzer the can use mostly for obliterating terrain. They would have limited shots, perhaps two. In the TV show, Quarks shared energy levels with each other, so they may give away howitzer shots to Quarks that have used up theirs.
Dominators do not have range weapons, but will be great at assault, have an ok save and at least 2 hits. Also the Quark influence I mentioned.
Well that's my two cents.
More Harlequin Doctor Who Profiles would be great.

Might I, after five months, second that request for more. I have a dominator and quark sat among my other pieces, and am keen to have a big battle 'twixt every piece in my possession.

I think the "2nt edition" rules are interesting, but seem time consuming. I would like to try them, but I'm more interested in profiles for figures minted that don't have any profiles in the Harlequin rules, as well as profiles for people and races that aren't already covered there (including those from the "new" series).
