No worries - just finished painting up the cave base from Amera - absolute bargain for £6! Great for those monsters that like lurking in the dark - Silurians, Zarbi, Yeti - any ideas on how to recreate the Himalayas on the table top?!

A quick thought off the top of my head so may not be any use but layers of boxes to make hills with a white sheet over the top and your nicely painted cave bits on top maybe paint the odd rock face on the sheet as well cheap and quick if nothing else until you think of something better

Good idea - certainly be cheaper than buying a load of stuff in. Just need to get hold of some Yeti and Tibetan monks! Just bought a load more Sea Devils so I think the next project is a sea scape and beach for them to advance along. Saw a good article on coating terrain bases in sand dunes on the terragenesis website.

Recreational conflict do some nice old style divers in diving suits and helmets if you wanted to do an underwater encounter for your sea devils (don't know how the divers compare size wise to btd figures) and not sure what stats to use for the divers

Cool site - any idea how long postage takes to reach the UK? I like the divers, although they'd be better used in a Victorian era scenario - have to get some redcoats to fight them on the beaches as well! Know of any good frogmen minis to use with Unit in the 70's? Opens up some interesting possibilities for missions to be played out on a smaller, separate "underwater" board, whilst the main battle carries on on the main table - could be dead easy to set up with terrain - sand and aquatic plants, with the odd rocky outcrop - coral if you're feeling fancy! Also noticed they sell giant crabs - with a bit of green stuff they could become Macra. There are some great minis in the pulp section to - possibilities are endless, shame my wallet isn't!

Just found some frogmen at Eureka Miniatures - Shame there aren't any swimming variants, although these are pretty nice. I have a copy of the One Ring scenarios but haven't played them yet, look good though - lack of people with the same peculiar obsessions as me - once press-ganged the wife into playing the scenarios that came with the Invasion Earth rule book - now working on her to try out my new Silurian scenario once I've finished painting up the rest of the scenery required! Know of any good power or sub station minis?! I'm going to have a go at building a factory like the one on Matakishis site - great website with loads of ideas - love the Unit minis on there too.

Been thinking about buying some stuff from Ainsty for a while - lovely scenery. Forgot to bid on a load of Ainsty's sewer stuff on Ebay the other week that was going relatively cheaply - gutted! Would have been great for some Invasion style Cyberman fun.
