These minis at Copplestone would be perfect as guards - helmets aren't far off - Thought the chap with the pistol would be good as Packer - Tobias Vaughn is a bit trickier - Dr Salamander from Artizan looks good - but Dr Felix (on the left) has more than a passing resemblance, especially the Nehru style suit - shame about the cat. Wonder if it could be converted into a cuddly cybermat?!

Glad you liked the minis i have a few copplestone minis and size wise their fine well sculpted as well Had a thought about the power station if no need to see in side how a bout a box with a dome on top for the reactor and a couple of tall tubes for the exhaust stack/chimneys And if you do need to see inside then the above and another smaller box with a lift off lid with some Kiss kiss bang bang control room computers or consoles with the smaller box placed a little way away from the reactor box with a small linking corridor after all its not Doctor Who with out corridors

Yeah will definitely have to invest - sewers will have to come later, nevermind the International Electromatics HQ building! Already spotted the computerised receptionist among the computer terminals offered in the Kiss Kiss Bang Bang range - I'm not even going to think about St Paul's Cathedral! Like your ideas about the power station - as I already own the bunker from Amera thought I would try and incorporate that (has a nice dome on top of it!) - will post my own pic with additions when its ready... Thought if I used your idea of some chimney stacks on a separate base and stood them next to the bunker it would look like some 70s "futuristic" underground nuclear plant and they could also be used in other scenarios. Pipe farm from Ainsty would good - if I can't find something to scratchbuild with. What I would like - and this is probably being overly anal - is a transformer type setup that the power station feeds into, along with a couple of pylons - something along the lines of this - thinking I may have to look at some model railway scenery of a similar scale - Good idea about the interior - never before have I been tempted to buy models of filing cabinets and computer arrays but copplestone has obviously done something strange to me! Couldn't stop thinking about the scenes from Tenth Planet in the missile control room! I'm sure I could knock something up with a few odd boxes and the obligatory corridor to represent the interior or even go vertical to represent the different levels - could even write something into the scenario about a failsafe switch that the Unit player could try to engage to foil the Silurian plan to siphon the power they need by effectively pulling the plug on them - could result in some great cliff hanger style episode ending moments in the game as the Doctor grapples with a Silurian over a big red button... As well as this I have the last bits of the ruined village of Wenley to paint up - photos to follow in the next few days. I think Wenley may end up being first!

For a simple transformer how about from a couple of ping pong balls or similar placed side by side with one or two small round stubby tubes on each ball then for the cable holder wrap/coil some fuse wire or similar around some 2/3mm rod and then attach that to the end of the stubby tube on the ball If any of that makes any sense will try to do a drawing and figure out how to post it on this site

Thanks again for your ideas! Will definitely give them a go, in between between building cupboards and painting bannisters!
Also just received delivery of some of the Kiss Kiss Bang Bang guards in hard hats - waiting for Dr Salamander and the Packer look-a-like from Artizan - hooray the wife hasn't noticed what I've spent yet!! Will post pics as soon as I get them painted - just need to make some decisions as to colour schemes - not sure black and white will really fit with the rest of my stuff! Thinking black with yellow detailing on the uniforms and a classic steel grey for Vaughn's suit.
