This message board seems a little sleepy at the mo...
How about posting an update on any little projects you lot might be working on - modelling, painting or scenario writing...
Personally I'm working on a WW2 Eastern front campaign where a fleeing Rutan spie and its Sontaran hunters get mixed up with with the desperate fighting around Leningrad between the beleagured German paratroopers and the Soviet masses attacking them. Will post pics as soon as I receive the minis from Black Tree and get them painted up.

O.K to try and get some chat going awhile ago I said I was working on A Dalek civil war idea and then changed my mind and started on an idea of solo play game plan which I,ve nearly finished and will post in a day or so I,ve not had a chance to play test it as much as I would like but I,ll put it up anyway and hope for some feed back

Sounds intriguing - look forward to it.
Have now assembled a BTD WW2 Gaz truck I got for a bargain on Ebay - still waiting for the Russians I ordered from BTD to put in it before I start painting so I get a better colour match...

Well three posts in a row - a hat trick I suppose! Feel free to jump in everyone else...
My BTD stuff finally arrived today - hooray! Well most of it - still waiting for a mortar, mg42 team and Paratrooper recon bike and side car- oh well.
Just finished cleaning all the flashing and rubbish off them and am set to get them painted. Might take a couple of weeks as my order consisted of over 45 minis! Go to love 50% discounts (not on Dr Who minis before you get excited!).

Sometimes not a very chatty site anyway will post much talked about solo game info writing up as soon as I finish this post it might take me two posts as I don't type very fast we will see so look for solo game post soon

Tell me about it! Looking forward to the solo stuff, although your talk of Dalek Civil War got my interest also...
Don't know if there's any Rutan/Sontaran experts out there - trying to come up with something slightly more interesting than "alien crash lands in interesting period of Earth's history and is hunted by other aliens" type scenario. Originally had the Rutan fleeing to the Soviets for cover and access to resources to mine elements necessary to mend its ship to escape the Sontarans, who are using the German Paratroopers as cannon fodder in their hunt. Would make for good two player game. Other ideas I've had would need three players unless anyone has any bright ideas - Nazis have "summoned" a Rutan scout to Earth using discovered ancient alien artifact (Rutan homing beacon). Sontarans also pick up the signal and move to intercept triggering three way battle between Germans, Russians and Sontarans with the Rutan as the objective... Much fun could be had with Rutan shape changing also - GM needed to keep track of what form the Rutan is in to keep other players in the dark....
Some ideas anyway - any input welcome!

Could be bad news if it works well means I'll have to paint up my Sontarans (no not more painting HELP)
